Tate Publishing Growth Continues to Impress Publishing World

(PRWEB) November 25, 2008 -- In an era when other publishers - including many of the most recognizable traditional houses - continue to scale back and struggle, Tate Publishing and Enterprises continues to grow and impress major players in the publishing industry.

"Our most recent reports from key distribution channels show that we have moved into the top twenty of CBA (Christian Bookseller Association) publishers, and the expectations of others state that we will be top ten in the next calendar year," said Mark Mingle, Director of Marketing for the Mustang, Oklahoma, based publisher.

The publisher has been told that since the company's inception earlier this decade, they are the fastest-going publisher in major distribution circles, holding partnerships with Ingram/Spring Arbor, Appalachian, Baker & Taylor, Anchor, and others.

"It is especially exciting to hear those kinds of projections in today's economic climate," said Mingle. "But we can't sit back. We have to continue to be aggressive and set the pace for an industry that is constantly changing. It is our constant goal to give authors the best opportunity to have a voice in the publishing world through our marketing plan. But it is clear that our business and marketing model have proven to be effective so far."

Ryan Tate, President and CEO of Tate Publishing, believes the secrets to this kind of success are relatively simple.

"We have matched the concepts of a large, traditional publishing house with the ease and 'hands-on' mentality of self-publishing, giving authors the very best chance in a tough and competitive industry," stated the former collegiate wrestler-turned-publisher. "With full copy and conceptual editing, unique layout and graphic design, and now a host of multimedia and marketing options including video trailers and audiobooks for authors, we are second-to-none in author service and promotion. And though we continue to grow, we will never get away from what has made us successful - the personal interaction with our authors and the relationships we've built and now maintain with bookstore buyers, store managers, and distribution houses that allow us to penetrate the marketplace on an unprecedented level. We fully expect to continue to be a leader in a time when leaders are hard to find."
