WebWorks.com Launches ePublisher 9.3
Austin, TX (PRWEB) September 19, 2007 -- WebWorks.com, a brand of Quadralay Corporation, the leading developer of publishing platform solutions for single source delivery of online content, today announced the release of ePublisher 9.3 -- the first fully featured publishing platform for delivering DITA content online.
The 9.3 release brings the power and flexibility of the ePublisher platform to those companies who are authoring, or planning to author, their content to the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) standard. With ePublisher 9.3, companies can now publish DITA content online in over a dozen output formats without needing to learn the complexity of the DITA Open Tool Kit. ePublisher 9.3 also gives users the ability to mix and match DITA with legacy FrameMaker or Microsoft Word content into a single output.
ePublisher 9.3 brings significant benefits to existing ePublisher users authoring in FrameMaker and Word, including streamlined publishing workflow, performance improvements, and new customer-requested features
"The release of ePublisher 9.3 represents a significant milestone for the company," said Quadralay Founder and CEO Tony McDow. "We believe that ePublisher is unique in allowing you to merge your content regardless of authoring environment to produce a single seamless online deliverable."
ePublisher 9.3's ability to merge information authored in DITA-XML, Adobe FrameMaker, or Microsoft Word makes the transition to DITA-XML more cost-effective, as a user can easily test and prototype DITA using a subset of their documentation while still developing quality output for their customers. The DITA content can then be increased on an incremental basis.
About ePublisher The ePublisher Platform enables cost-effective processes for efficiently presenting and deploying content in online and print publications. Organizations can leverage existing authoring tools and content management systems with ePublisher to meet organization-wide publishing needs. Its open system architecture, based on industry-standard XSL, enables a large degree of flexibility, customizability, and migration investment protection. For more information visit www.webworks.com
